The Toronto Red Hat Mamas had a short but happy life. To everything
there is a season.
I am very active online and may keep this page as a Blog site. I
used to work as a Webmaster, so that's easy for me to say.
I am a member-at-large of the Red Hat Society, affliated with no
group but still maintaining, I hope, some of the Red Hat spirit.
Currently I am turning my current 68 Podcasts into a book. A Podcast
is sort of a recorded Blog. Many deal with current events. Mine
deal with things that have happened to me over time, rather a long
time at my attained age of 71. The transcripts
of these Podcasts are turning gradually into a book for family,
friends and perfect strangers. I say perfect strangers because my
little 7 to 10 minute Mp3 recordings get between 7,000 and 8,000
hits a month. 7% of those are from China, where I suspect they are
being used to learn English.

August 3, 2008
Spend the morning editing my family transcripts for inclusion in
the book I am building at http://www.lulu.com
When it's done I will have it printed for friends and family and
a few Podcast listeners. There's a fellow in Mexico who wants a
copy.
The afternoon was spent getting some PayPal shopping cart buttons
up on the site of my friend and client, Danny
Marks.
Now, with any luck I'll get in a half hour on online wargaming (Guild
Wars) before I settle down to the software tutorials I'm taking
on Lynda.com
